Baking cakes is my hobby, I only bake for friends and family. I am not a self employed caker.

I started baking, like many, when I was at school, I then carried this love of baking over to college. When I qualified there, I left education to pursue motherhood, and later, grandmotherhood.

With an ever increasing family, my cake list has grown. It has gone from just my own children to nieces and nephews as well as their children and my own grandchildren.

I sometimes get asked "Where do you get your inspiration from?" The answer is quite simple. Websites of ordinary folk, just like this one.
